T\u00fcrk Hava Yollari, better known as Turkish Airlines, needs no introduction. It is the leading international air carrier in the world.<\/p>\n

Moreover, it is the largest mainline airline, and also flies nonstop to more destinations from the same airport than others.<\/p>\n

But that is not it. Turkish Airlines flies to more countries than all of the other airlines. And Canada is one of those 126 countries. Currently, the airline serves Montreal and Toronto airports.<\/p>\n

However, in June 2020, Vancouver will be the third Canadian destination for Turkish Airlines.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what the Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee has to say:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mr. Ilker Ayci noted that it is vital to maintain Turkish Airline\u2019s dominance as the largest international flight network.<\/p>\n

Also, adding that, the airline\u2019s performance in the American continent so far has been a net positive.<\/p>\n

Ayci also commented on the 2019 change of Turkish Airline hub to the new Istanbul Airport as the \u201cbiggest move in aviation history.\u201d<\/p>\n

1. IST-YVR Introductory Flight Fare, Schedule and Other Info<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Starting June 9, the flight will operate from the airline\u2019s main base, Istanbul Airport (IST) in Arnavutkoy.<\/p>\n

The airline announced its introductory fare. Book roundtrip flights will be as cheap as $645. The cost also includes tax.<\/p>\n

  1. Flight number TK075 will depart from Istanbul Airport at 14:05 to Toronto Pearson Airport arrives at 15:50. The flight will land on the same day.<\/li>\n
  2. Flight number TK075 will depart from Toronto Pearson Airport at 17:20 and reach Istanbul Airport at 14:50. The flight will land Istanbul the next day.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Further, the aircraft serving the route will be B787-900 Dreamliner aircraft. It will feature a 30 Business and 270 Economy seat configurations.<\/p>\n

    2. Turkish Airlines Weekly Flight Frequency to Canada Grows to 12<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    The frequency of flight to Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) will be thrice weekly, i.e., Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.<\/p>\n

    The number of Turkish Airline flights in Canada will grow to 12 flights a week in June 2020.<\/p>\n

    Presently, the number of weekly Turkish Airlines flights to Toronto is six. Montreal Airport (YUL), on the other hand, offers three weekly flights.<\/p>\n

    If you consider the whole of North America, the airline operates from 14 destinations. Vancouver Airport (YVR) will be the 15th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

    3. Turkish Airlines Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) Transit<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Terminal 1 of Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) facilitates the movement to Turkish Airlines flights (Arrivals and Departures, both).<\/p>\n

    However, in exceptional cases such as overflow of traffic, and so on, the terminal may change.<\/p>\n

    Turkish Airlines started its Toronto Pearson Airport operation in the year 2009.<\/p>\n
